Many managers sit alone at a location by themselves while their employees are scattered across different states. How does this help anyone collaborate?

Perhaps managers should be asked to relocate where their team are. Benefits of receiving huge bonuses, right?

This is happening to our group. They don’t want the onesies-twosies sitting alone in their offices anymore. They want a manager in an office with a team so everyone has some visibility of making it in. I guess all our complaints of making the effort to commute to an office only to see no one was heard.

HR is now calling it Co-location Strategy. Perhaps I'll end up having the opportunity to work in India since the rest of our is located across the country with the majority of team members in India

Greatest BCP plan ever devised. Literally all the eggs in one basket. What could go wrong? I'm sure it'll be just fine.

Out of the many layoff in our area (within CB) NONE of them have been people in non core locations. While the remote in FL and NH hang on, people who were in office as required are being let go. I’m taking this location strategy with a grain of salt. So depressing here.

Talk is cheap and they have no clue what they are doing. Constantly fighting fire drills.

Absolutely untrue. Several LOBs will be adding specialty markets. Try again.

Does anyone know about Jacksonville, FL? There are still about 100+ employees here after the recent WARN. What will happen to those of us remaining and when?

Friday Wells Fargo reports earnings. Will "efficiency" come up? What will MS have to say? I doubt a clarified "location strategy" will be discusses.

Wrong .. they are still exiting non core cities to their list of core markets. It's barely half done in my group. The plan hasn't changed for us
