How many Rama's does take to engineer something?
F indians
Engineering mgrs with no technical knowledge and doing nothing technical.
As a grizzled engineer who’s sidestepped more incompetent Wells Fargo managers than bugs in a legacy codebase, this post (@OP+1jrh94fwn) hits the mark—WF hoards deadweight like it’s stockpile season. The Microsoft article mentions PM ratio (product managers to engineers), and I’d bet Wells is drowning in suits and/or those in their underwear Zooming from home offices—managers get remote perks while us engineers grind in-office under badge trackers. Agile rolled in, and instead of managers stepping up as real product owners or scrum masters, they just stacked another layer of do-nothings—self-titled “leaders” who can’t spell “Hello World” (@a4+1jrh94fwn) or design a system that’s not a spreadsheet-web-app trainwreck. I’ve scrapped with “business execution consultants”—no certs, no clue, just bullies churning out garbage designs we had to fix.
It’s not just bloat or H1Bs or DEI—it’s the culture. WF’s poison didn’t flush out post-sales scandal; it just turned inward, sc--wing employees instead of clients. Engineers flee because we’re stuck dodging:
Curved reviews: Your work shines? Curve says you’re trash anyway. Ready for the yank?
Ref bans: No refs for outside jobs—managers can’t vouch, so you’re stuck or sc--wed (@OP+1jrep8hvk).
Location roulette: Remote now, laid off later—spin the wheel, pray.
RTO nonsense: US workers swipe badges, log keystrokes—India’s remote, no questions asked.
P-level purges: P4s/P5s bullied out for cheap P3s (@OP+1jqh2qebm).
Cloud scams: Build apps, watch ‘em sail to India—thanks for nothing.
Compliance con: Hired to fake reform, ditched when regulators blink.
Manual bloat: Policy stacks taller than code—drown or die trying.
Badge spies: RTO’s got Big Brother clocking every swipe and click—trust? What’s that?
PM ratio’s a red flag, not the fire. Wells hemorrhages engineers to outfits where agile actually works—psychologically safe spots where you’re not braced for rank-and-yank traps or vague “strategies.” Culture’s the ki-ler—same fear from ‘16, just aimed at us now. Lean ratios come from fearless teams, not this mess. MSFT might be trimming, but WF’s still choking on its own venom.
Ask your congressman to support HR2315.

Agile is a big fat failure and useless.
Indian engineers are the problem!
There are many incompetent engineering managers who have noname college degrees at Wellsfargo.
Self proclaimed “Engineering leaders” at Wellsfargo can’t event print “Hello World”
Wells will hire those managers who laid off at Microsoft. The more the merrier.
There are many incompetent managers in tech wasting valuable oxygen and unable to lead let alone manage.
