Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

M3-M5 base, bonus, RSU ranges

Job posts for Technology Director indicate a wide base salary range of 207,900 - 431,900.

As an M3 in NC, I barely make it to mid-200s and no equity.

Questions for the family here:

  1. Base: Does anyone actually get north of 400k in base?
  2. Bonus: In % terms, what's the % given to M3, M4, and M5.
  3. Equity: Do M4, M5 qualify for stock/equity grants aka RSUs? If yes, what's the annual grant amount?

Total comp, yes. Straight salary, not happening.

Anyone can validate the claim that 400k is possible for m4?

Everyone depending up when you were hired gets paid different some bonus others not. M3 prob 2-225. M4 add 10-20 percent in CLT

the salary bands are for the entire nation and across all skills in that particular job family and level. The entire salary range is not used in every market or for every role even in same job family and level.

How that is determined - by comp, when the job is posted.

400K base for a M4 (director) in charlotte... doubtful.

It really varies based on comp band and role. For example an M3 in technology likely will make great base salary but perhaps only 15-25% bonus while an m3 in risk will make good base salary and bonus of 25-35% and an m3 in business execution will make so so salary and 20-30% bonus and an m3 in sales make avg salary with bonus at 100%.

Is that 400 in base? If yes, which level? M3,m4,m5?

Can someone post ranges for m3,m4,m5 for base, bonus, RSRs in NC?

yes, people make in the 400's. Bonus you are likely looking at 35%+. RSRs are based on total bonus amount starting at $50k. If your bonus is over $50k 20% will go to stock with that % increasing as your bonus increases.
