Another one that is starting to report on the tech world hiring practices

The reporter and media that covers this best is Neil Munro of Breitbart.
I don't understand why they go through all the cost and time with hiring an h1b here where they could just hire the job in India. Wish the media would investigate company h1b hiring practices.
this job was posted internally a couple months back. if I remember correctly it was not an Indian hiring manager. I know there are certain rules around hiring h1b and what has to be posted when and where from a legality standpoint, but you would think that if it is a job where there are hundreds of qualified US candidates, they should be forced to hire US candidates.
likely a 100 well qualified Americans who could do that job. Its likely a Indian manager, who of course only wants it filled with a fellow Indian.
The newspaper ads are part of a required step before submitting for a green card. You can apply to them, and if you don't hear back you can report them to the Department of Labor.
Isn't the Bay Area like 70% immigrants now?
The US now is just on-shored Indians competing with off-shored Indians.
Lol. These are not open positions. They are already filled with H1Bs. This newspaper ad is in support of their Green Card application.
you can usually tell the jobs on workday that are h1b. You would think there would be plenty of US workers in the bay area who would more than qualify for this role.
