Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I guess it is all about priorities

Apparently there is not enough money to pay employees, so people keep getting laid off every two weeks. But somehow there is enough for a $40 BILLION share repurchase. And here I was, thinking we were struggling. Make it make sense, please. For fu-k's sake.

“ It’s about shareholder value.” except shareholder value was only up 10% in the dec 19 to dec 24 time period charlie has been in charge. Multiply share price by number of shares outstanding to figure out shareholder value.

It's an efficiency-in-name-only program. Now what should we really call this never-ending WF k program?

It’s not corruption it’s stupidity. Corruption would imply they’re smart enough to know what they’re doing.

Don't forget to add the $20 Billion they bought back in 2024. That is a total of $60 Billion in stock buy back...

If you only knew how much the C suite wastes on themselves. At least share buybacks may help the stock price

Among millions of dollars wasted in Wells Fargo technology as a result of poor leadership planning and d-mb as F fake leaders that think they are above the peasants! Shareholders need to demand an accounting of transactions in Wells Fargo technology. Post to all social media networks to encourage shareholders to contact Wf and flood their phone lines and call your senators and state reps and demand an investigation into the corruption at Wells Fargo. If nothing else, it will make shareholders think twice before buying into a corrupt as f operation!

The people who make operational decisions are paid huge amounts of stock. Employees are an impediment to their compensation plan.

Its about shareholder value. Since a guy named Jack Welch was elevated to 'godhood' in business that is all that matters. Not how to get there, only the dogmatic belief that line must go up.
