I absolutely would love to know how good it feels to be above a K grade where you can operate however you want with zero accountability. Global Payments is basically a free for all because the upper and middle management is an absolute s**t show! They are useless. If BNY wants to make some cuts start with a director and a couple of Pittsburgh slugs who are good at nothing but gaslighting others that they are amazing. The lower grades should just ban together and shut them out completely and run the show themselves

All the cuts have been to people ( including Ds, MDs and SDs) who are actually very competent and experienced….its jobs for friends at BNY and that’s all….if you are friendly with someone senior, you are ok…if you challenge them in the name of growing this country, you are forced out…there’s a few that sit below the EC at EC-1or EC-2 in Pershing, Asset Servicing and Investments who rule by fear…play their game and agree with everything and you will be fine…..challenge them for all the right reasons and you are out….and you wonder why morale is rock bottom, people are lost and everyone who is competent has their resume out
