Hey guy don't be confused, nobody is blaming layoffs on the tax situation. The root cause is weak markets, poor strategy and execution. Tax issue may affect the number of heads a little but that is noise. Then, somehow you found a way to twist it back to your 'corporate greed' talking point. If you don't like corporate greed, stop buying the products the companies make. I'll bet you have an expensive smart phone don't you? Well if you want to get rid of this so called greed, start with changing your consumer behavior.

Yea, go ahead and blame the tax rate instead of corporate greed. You people really don't understand how companies work.........do you?
From 2018 - 2021, Intel paid less then 15% effective rate in 3 out of four years. So, earnings will take a blow from the 15% min tax unless headcount is cut or the company starts executing again.
It's kind of funny though. Pat just go a big tax credit package passed in congress for semiconductor companies ( CHIPs Act) ... So perversely, that tax credit won't help if we also get whacked with the 15% minimum.
How is that Build Back Better working for some of you now? The sad thing about it is that people still do not make the connection and run back to vote the same way over and over...
It is true that the Biden administration is directly responsible for layoffs. They do not understand the relationship between profits and headcount because nobody in the admin has ever run a company or even worked for one besides McDonalds or a local New York bar. If you hire bartenders and career politicians to run the country, this is what you get.
This needs more exposure for sure.
