I left EM (EMIT) voluntarily in 2022. US employee. Last assessment was Outstanding so I wasn’t a PIP/PIL.
I talk to quite a few former colleagues and I lurk on here every few months to get a pulse on whether it’s worth coming back, and so far, the answer is no.
The grass isn’t always greener, and my new company certainly has its own issues, but I’m satisfied in my new role and have achieved a ton of personal and professional growth.
The lesson I’ve learned is that having someone else manage your career is not the best path. I had a great experience at EM, and probably should have left earlier, but all in all it was “Very Good”.
