Running the company very conservatively going into this environment. We have trimmed our, ah, we had, we had, trimmed on the edges started to be very careful with our, our, be very careful with our consumer lending practices and we had been in some conversation about loosening up some of those things that we have done. We have stopped doing that. We are looked at all our asset classes that we have lent to. We focus on higher companies.
[editors note] Faber goes into But you have done your share of layoffs. CS goes on with some “we have done this carefully” etc. Unfortunately this is behind a paywall. And my tv didn’t record it well (at 38:02 on squawk on the street.

I refuse to listen to the S flowing from these exec hacks. I'm not typically anti-executive, or anti "1%", but this group is full of liars and incompetents who come to work every day with a single minded focus on eliminating the domestic employees. As executives, they can do that, and as an employee I can ignore them and their BS. FHY.

the stuff he said after Faber confronted him on the layoff numbers was priceless. Yeah we had all these integrated units .... its fun to see un-tech people try to understand/speak tech. I think he is getting this stuff from BE... Definitely not TK?

I listened to Charlie’s interview on CNBC this morning from what looks like a hotel lobby and can’t believe he actually said “we’re a simple company” going on to say WF ILis focused on the US, so it’s best for the US…except it’s not. Why don’t you tell the country where are those US jobs are going??? Couldn’t be the Philippines and India, could it???
