Next contract it’s another’s district turn to strike if they try the same tactics, looking at you D9. 2 contracts in a row we have had to carry your water in D3, time to step up. Thought Cali was all about activism and fighting the man if wronged but actions speak otherwise.

The previous contract D9 didn’t strike and held out negotiating right up until it was time for D3’s turn to negotiate. A week before they could have joined D3 in negotiations or strike, they settled and used D3 as leverage. D3 still had to go out on a short ULP strike afterwards due to company tactics.

So why did I strike ? You’ll got a better contract since the union sc--wed us and I’ll never get the month pay I lost back!

Managers are jealous but they won't admit it. No matter what they try to say, they know we union workers got it way better than they do. Most managers privately wish they never accepted a manager job.

This contract was pretty good compared to the last 3 contracts. For the first time in decades, my health insurance will actually go down. Yes its cr-ppier insurance, but I only need a catastrophe plan and now I have the option for one. Plus with the 2k HSA match and with the 1700 in Wellness options, I'll come out paying 0 for the insurance I never use. We should have had this type of coverage for years.
