Is Digital Assets a sinking ship

Lots of recent departures, but really shocked by today's announcement.

Yes it’s dead in the water just a matter of time been running a few years now makes no money has almost no clients and is staffed with crypto guys who know nothing about the wider business. A fad doomed to failure

Interims are often just dead wood who aren’t doing their own jobs very well so have time to NOT do another job very well. They are rubber stamps. Anyone who thinks ‘good Lord those named interims are already doing soooo much how can they take on any more ???’ They aren’t and they don’t … Just a sorry name in italics on an org chart.

Not a penny dropping into the bank in real life
Well now, @br+1jtngjpz6 in that one sentence is the live DNA of this whole thing. RV is the mad emperor in this case. He has given a lot of money, lip service and time to this ‘mad yolk’ of an idea and has it smashed all over his face - except the scar. This whole silly romp has been one big boondoggle and CB was likely being beaten and bruised for it over the last several months. She was chased out of here. This is a failure and she was going to be the scapegoat. You can bet your life, it is going to get a lot worse on that D.A. front. Good. I hope it flames like the Hindenburg. ‘Oh the Vincemanity!’

Why the shock, like? After all the big talk since this mad yolk of an idea was kicked off—posters everywhere, launch parties up the walls, all the shiny merch, and promises of raking it in year after year. But it was all on paper, wasn’t it? Not a penny dropping into the bank in real life. So what’s the shock? That she couldn’t even run the custody bit properly and now she’s shoved into this half-baked setup as a last-chance saloon?

And now we’ve this so-called ‘interim’ fella, right? From what I hear, he’s another one of these Roman-style emperors—zero love from the crew, no street cred to speak of, and the only leadership gig he had was a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it stint at some brokerage. Honestly, where do the big banks find these unproven wonders? It’s like a game of blindfolded darts.

Unless—here’s the kicker—Carolyn knew exactly what she was at. Line up a scapegoat, give them a poisoned chalice, and when it all tanks, she’s already off into the sunset with a tidy exit. That’d be a bit of poetic revenge, wouldn’t it?

Why is this considered some kind of ‘shock’? Carolyn was one the last of ugly Roman’s tainted mistakes remaining. She must’ve been beyond unhappy lately, but unlike 99% of us, she will land on her wealthy feet just fine. Block chain, crypto, virtual assets… yeah, sure.

Interesting choice for the interim head of Digital Assets.

This company is a sinking ship. If you hold BK shares (especially in your 401K) you really need to consider transitioning into stable funds very soon. Forget the merger rumors.
