1277 Lenox No Water/No Bathrooms

Getting reports from some that I supervise that 1277 Lenox has no water, thus no bathrooms. Impacts all floors of the building. Leadership is asking employees to walk across campus to another building to use the restroom. Would be a bad time for OSHA to show up…

Just contact local news outlet if it’s that bad.

It most certainly is true. I was in the bathroom and suddenly heard rushing water, but it wasn't anywhere in the bathroom. I was able to flush like right as it started, but then the toilets wouldn't flush bc the guy next to me couldn't flush. The water just trickled out of the sink to wash my hands. We were told it was a main that broke, and it was fixed about 1.5-2 hours later.

“No water” doesn’t mean you can’t still utilize the toilets and sinks. Cleanup is a building maintenance issue.

First, I didn't realize until yesterday how many people cr-p at work. (FTR, I only do it on a rare occasion, but apparently a lot of people have their daily constitutionals at the office. )

And second, if you're in a conference or group meeting or whatever, do us both a favor, and don't go to the closest bathroom to take said cr-p on a meeting break. I'm not going to look at you the same when we reconvene if I just heard you taking a cr-p. Waddle down the hall to another one. I thought that was an unspoken rule that you don't cr-p in your closest bathroom; you go to another hall or floor and leave the effects with strangers or other groups you don't like.

And I also wonder if building maintenance had to go around flushing once the water was fixed.

Someone called the health department on my center. They came out and did a full inspection and issue was resolved within 24 hrs. Center refused to take action for weeks.

I’m using the bathrooms no matter what. Flushing isn’t my priority.
