Bait and switch?

Has anyone took a P5 role as consultant/officer role that turned into a front line-ish production role that requires 100% perfect QA of work? The expectation difference of all levels is based on title and is not equal. The level of production increasing with even more opportunity to miss something. This is daunting when you have been in leadership roles or consulting roles for many years. The saying; those who cant do, coach comes to mind. The trap was set and you are stuck. The fear of failure is real and the stress only causes more errors and more stress. Stuck because no where to go or out over 60. Just trying to survive until retirement. This is not what was planned for in these final years. Bonus to prepare and last years of career in the toilet.

Did you expect this consultant role to be some kind of a leadership role? A consultant role is never a leadership role, it's always an analyst role regardless of which level. The only differences among P1-P5 are the salary level.
