I have a friend I trust a lot who is very high up in the ranks of fidelity. She told me there is no year end bonus or profit sharing plan for this year. What have you heard?

No one’s saying a 0% bonus can’t happen. No kidding.
0% bonus can happen a __very__ difficult to work with co-worker of mine experienced this and I can tell you that it was the decision of the manager who we both directly reported to.
Corporate compensation does cut bonuses. Always get told it would have been bigger but it was cut.

you can get 0% of your bonus potential. It's not cut, you just got nothing.
I don't know about profit sharing...but bonuses can't be cut. I don't know where you guys get this info.

Again, we are going into 2 years, can you VBOers stop trolling on this site hoping that us young professionals complain about our jobs? We are raking in the money with much higher base salaries, bonuses and profit sharing than you ever had all these years. Move on and enjoy your short retirement, we on the other hand can retire at 45 and still be able to enjoy a long retirement.
@9brf+1ju6M2Sy - I chose to work for a few more years because I actually LIKE what I do. Healthcare is locked in and I can just stop working whenever I want at this point. Good for you keep on "piling more money than you can imagine" so you can retire at 45 sounds like everyone is doing just fine here. Also are "trolls" the ones who post all the negative stuff? Just sayin.

Sorry VBOers for having to get another job, obviously you couldn’t retire on your accumulation for so many years. Us young professionals are piling more money than you can imagine and will be able to retire at 45 without getting another job after FIDO.

I am only down 373K after 24+ years of accumulation. There is still plenty in the till. On top of that I got a full double salary dip for almost a full year. I took 1 week off after my FIDO VBO exit and started a new job with a salary that matches what my FIDO salary was + typical year end bonus.
Please no one need feel sorry for us VBO folk we are all good and I have nothing but good things to say if anyone asks about FIDO.
To the VBO crowd, it’s been a year and half and you are still trolling this site. I’m sorry you got pushed out but the best years are still to come for us to pile up much more than your 30 year accumulation. You may feel rich with a couple of millions but in the long run it won’t buy you much, in the meantime we are piling large amounts of cash. I’m sorry but it’s a bad time for you. It’s better if you stop trolling us and move on with your little lives.
B@2hwf+1ju6M2Sy, Before you feel sorry for the VBO crowd because they are not getting a profit sharing hit and bonus for this 1 year, consider that many of us got profit sharing hits and bonus annually for 30+ years and accumulated a fortune.
Because of the market, my 401k is down 400k, but I'm still rich.
I feel bad for VBRers, they wish they would still be employed to receive fat bonuses and profit sharing. You had a nice vacation but it’s over now. Sorry.

I feel sorry for the people that took the VBO and now that their 401K are down wish they stayed at such a great company. Profit sharing and bonus will be paid this year and it will be the biggest ever and 10% across the board will be announced in January. Sorry to disappoint the VBOers.

Not a chance. Big raises coming for most people. Fidelity’ has never missed profit sharing in the 25+ years I’ve worked here. Don’t listen to trolls.
