You are done in telecom, enjoy wearing your red vest greeting customers at wallyworld.
Time bridges. Dont be silly. Returning employee will get more than 2 weeks vacation.
Sure you can. No seniority, base pay and 2 weeks vacation which you get to pick after everyone else. On the plus side, you won't be touching your lump and you will still be contributing to your 401k
Burned through all your cash already? Sad...
Humble brag!
Who retires still needing a paycheck?
You probably can reapply, but odds are they won't want you or offer you enough to make it worthwhile to you.
I don’t think it works that way? If you have a pension, payments will stop if you return to work for the same company. I don’t know if it’s immediate with Verizon or there’s a short amount of time you can work for the company before it stops.
You said cable maintenance so I’m guessing CWA/bargained. AT&T let retirees take temp or term positions for 2 years before they’d stop your pension. Not sure if the union or the company dictates the rules.
Yes you can, starting pay is $15 an hour.
No, what’s the matter too much inflation
