Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

It's a problem of Motivation

If I work my a-s off and Intel ships a few extra processors, I don’t see another dime.
So what is the motivation?

And I’ll tell you something else. I have eight different bosses right now. Eight. That’s right. So that means when I make a mistake, I have eight different people coming by to tell me about it.

That’s my only real motivation is not to be hassled… and the fear of losing my job.
But that will only make someone work just hard enough to not get fired.

Work harder. Maybe they’ll give you another boss as a reward!

If we gave you an extra $$ per hour or a bonus per sale you would be happier. For about 2 years. Then the same statement appears.

I work my A$$ off for what a few bucks more an hour!
