Managers can takes as much paid sick time as needed as long as their manager does care. Union has tight rules for sick time

There are 2 standards for sick leave.
A. Women, Blacks, Mexicans get unlimited sick leave because they are protected.
B. White Men are instructed/encouraged/threatened/coerced to take V time when sick and god help them if they take more than 5 days which turns into a disability. Know a manager who had a stroke and was hounded to return to work immediately or retire. Yes, he was "white".

Management gets 23 days PTO (or 28 after 10 years with company) plus up to 15 days caregiver leave. No set limit on bonafide sick days. If a management employee has a baby or adopts they also get up to 3 additional months of paid parental leave. You can find all this on HR OneStop.

I get probably an extra 52 days of vacation a year. Have weekly meetings at Wh-t(lash) Towers and on the way back to work I just keep driving till I wind up home. Upper managers don't care so why should I? Besides, they are usually playing golf while I'm driving home.

You just stop entering it once you hit your allotment of days off.

Now this if funny!
A few years ago my boss got the usual Vac, EWP, holidays & he had weekend duty almost every weekend & worked almost all holidays. His 13% co-workers never knew what to do in the switchroom so he wound up working a lot. Equity at its' best. Then, he told the clerk who was a "friend" that he was going to France for 4 weeks and when he returned the VT disappeared magically and he took the "remainder of his vacation" August thru December. This guy got 9 weeks vacation + his days.
I guess you could call it WASP Equity!

Management gets 23 days with less than 10 years of service, 28 with 10 or more.

It used to be 18, 23, 28, or 33 based on tenure, and the people who had 33 - I think these were people with 20+ years tenure - are justifiably mad.

5 weeks plus 4 excused personal days and 4 floating holidays that can be taken anytime. Management is basically a week less because T stuck it to them by stealing a week from them just recently.
