Maybe this is just the first year I noticed, but over 60 percent of our group said they are seriously considering leaving Wells Fargo (and I know there are some people uncomfortable w that question that lie). Are other groups that bad with that number? It sounds like that would be one of the most important questions for management to focus on.

Either people lied on the questions, or Charlie's communications group lied. I am pretty sure those "positive" results that were mentioned, aren't really that wonderful.

Funny, they didn't speak to the results of the question: "Are you seriously considering leaving Wells Fargo at this time?"

Our wonderful CEO is so transparent that he would not provide an exact number for the survey population,,, only states "better than half". Just got to love the transparency here. The shitshow continues.

I think you have to take the employee survey with a huge grain of salt. The questions are worded in such a way that a reasonable person would answer positively -e.g. you want to help customers (well, no sh*t, most people want to do well by their customer, doesn't mean were setup to do so or that we don't have issues). My boss cares, I have the tools, etc. and a variety of other things can all get decent responses.

Then there's the concern about anonymity. We're told it's anonymous, but there's a trust factor and in some cases a boss could tell who answered in a particular way. Are you going to trash everything for a survey? Not likely.

They're called commissars, though i'm sure they'll make up a focus grouped euphemism, and they can F right off also. Not my manager and I have no time for their nonsense.

I think the survey was a hot mess just by how graceful they are trying to make it sound.

Survey? If it doesn’t appear in Develop You, then it gets ignored. I think we should be compensated for doing surveys like that. Then again, what do you say, can and will be used against you.

Now they're talking about stationing reacharound specialists at every major hub to provide RTO motivation, higher survey results, and to relieve midday pressure.

If low response rate, doesn’t that pretty much tell the story? Earth to C Suite…. No one thinks you care about the team member, I mean employee.

The most sterilized and non substantive summary of what should be impactful data I have ever seen

I always ignore the stupid surveys. Send them back to PHISH.

Interesting that people who didn’t participate in the survey will be given another opportunity to participate later this month. I don’t think this has ever happened during the 20 years I’ve been here.
I wonder what that’s about. Is leadership trying to gauge just how bad attrition may be in 2023?

It mentioned nothing about the ONE hot topic we actually can agree on—RTO and the failure it was.

Embrace “candor”. Yeah right. Least the former ceos would let you respond on teamworks and take uncanned questions during their town halls. Just more and more evidence that our opinion means nothing. We are to be ignored, no matter what our concerns are or how they affect the company. “Almighty one” seems to think only his opinion matters and his cronies just appease.

It took them that long to craft that garbage?

We're in worse shape than anyone thought, and the management team knows it.

"A few weeks ago, we asked you to complete our annual survey". I dunno, seems like more than a few weeks ago to me. Canned message, hey all is groovy, we still have work to do? Like the last x number of years sounds the same to me.

One question was both the lowest score and biggest improvement. Key sign of just how sh---y the 2021 results were and 2022 continues to be.

That email read like it was written 6 months ago, long before the results came in, pre determined outcome. Propa ganda.
