Several job titles are going to be eliminated in June. Inaccurate RTO reports are being used as part of evaluation for who to keep with a title change and who is being let go.

All of this hostility makes my eyes rain. Guess who?
“ Still so much dead weight to go”
Yes, at the top of this heap.
Here is a large scale layoff report. AT&T had 281,000 employees in 2019, fast forward and it’s around 149,000 or less now. So those who don’t think layoffs and attrition aren’t happening on a regular basis is fooling themselves.
" And yet you stay guy is one of my new favorite guys. He is right up there with ask your supervisor and first."
All the same guy...and he posted that too.
Still so much dead weight to go
Facts. Those being cut have already been identified. Notifications coming in the next week or so.
well for the T employees.. keep copious records of your attendance.. (exempt included) that ought to be a good lawsuit in itself.. making exempt manager hourly yet paying them salary. As a manager, I have had many of my folks show CLEARLY on infor they took vacation days, yet the attendance report did NOT reflect that and sure enough for the week they were listed as "MISS"... you come into the office 4x or 80%, 1 day you have a situation that calls for you to telecommute, yes you legitimately work all day. but waalaa. the presence report says... (you dirty Bas***d, you missed the whole week) Yep .. if you are terminated for either hours report or the presence report.. GET a Wrongful Termination Attorney! It would probably take 1 year, but its worth it.
I'll leave when I get my severance.
“Cut the fat. Right size the company.”
Which starts at the “millionaire’s club” aka the C suite…followed by the extraneous layers of “VP’s”.

I would consider large scale 10000 or more so I’m going with small scale.
What’s new, same was said about January February March April May June July, yet there’s really never any large scale layoff.so what do we consider large scale nowadays? Seems like someone’s always fishing for drama on this website because there’s really nothing to speak of. It’s the same old same old. Keep it moving nothing to see here.
just like a police stop — according to McElfreshko at his town hall, the RTO report only counts if you agree to its data when confronted
Who cares. The place is a rotting cesspool of cockroaches from L3 and above. Everything offshored to simple minded bot workers. We don’t need critical thinkers and intelligent employees to take money in from the front door and cart it out the back door to vendors in wheel barrels. L3 and up has their hands in the crooked jar. It’s a total grift.
I also heard that bears are now sh1tting in the woods.
This just in: the new pope is catholic.
I think there's only been one year of the 12 I've been here that there hasn't been at least one big layoff. So, not surprised if this is true.
They aren’t yet satisfied with the level of toxic working environment they are shooting for.
Which titles, for example?
Summer layoff Wave 2.
Have heard the same on the layoff in June. Originally was going to be end of April, but got moved to notify end of May, off payroll early June.
In other news, the sky is blue,
Just another day at the T.
