Long term associate here. The club I work at is behind on trucks, managers have left or been fired, skeleton crew, steel is over capacity, several call offs everyday , but yet we are expected to have a perfect looking club. What is going on is insane! The holidays are coming so it will only get worse . Any one else having the same issues?

Unless we work in the same club we are having Sam’s issues managers leaving behind on trucks yep that’s us
They need to raise the gawd da*mn starting pay!!!!! That's the only way we're going to keep good help.
And cheap, cr---y cozy throws. How many of those things do people need??
…..and, special events with the SAME useless C**P. How many air fryers does one person need?
The endless special events. We have a special event for every obscure and insignificant minor holiday. It's become a joke.
Be at the club that was involved with hurricane Ian and see if you have anything to compare it to. Utterly chaotic.
Home office had our lifts slowed down so now trucks are going to take longer to unload. Thankfully I get paid by the hour lol.
Especially when trucks are unloaded and they leave for the 4am people to put up with all the deliveries they have and don’t get paid jack!!! The one day a week there is only 1 backroom associate during day to do it ALL!!
Don’t let it stress u out. Remember u get paid by the hour and the worst they can do is fire u. At least that’s how I look at it lol.
This happens every year. Waiting on more Chineseum garbage.

We were told that freight flow should be easing up in the next week or so. Hang in there and keep doin’ the best you can. It’s been insane for sure.
There is one thing you must get though your thick little skull: YOU are at fault . YOU are the reason the club is behind on trucks. You are the reason the steel s beyond capacity. You are the reason others call off. You are the reason managers are getting fired. The sooner you understand and embrace this truth the sooner we can get on with making Sams great again ! Never ever is there any fault lying with anyone above the level of hourly associate. No Salaried manager in your club , no manager at the market , regional or home office level is at fault for anything! You are at fault !!!!!
