For anyone terminated over not enough hours in office, were you able to collect unemployment benefits?

I was terminated because I asked someone to do their job and it hurt their feelings (no bullsh-t) I was given unemployment.
You should always apply and appeal it if they turn you down. It costs AT&T money fight it and it costs them money to pay it if you win. It is worth the effort.
I applied but got denied out of St. Louis.
I know someone who was let go after working an only a couple of hours daily in the office per the report. They were an exempt manager working many hours outside office as well. They were initially denied unemployment, but after explaining the situation to the state they were granted unemployment. So you should try. I am assuming there will be some lawsuits against AT&T regarding these reports.

More likely T just didn't waste the time to fight it. Worked for a large media corp, and an employee was absolutely fired with cause. She contested it, and we had the proof, but HR said it wasn't worth it, so she collected her 'pennies.'
AT&T lied to the state if Georgia, DOL called me, I gave them all the evidence and they sided with me and not AT&T.

False. The reason cannot violate the law or FLSA. Firing an office exempt manager over an hourly report possibly violates FLSA exempt management rules. If I was OP, I would apply for UI and also speak with a labor attorney.
Companies can fire anybody for whatever the reasons. You just need to apply for UI and explain your situation. If you can convince your regional UI office, you can get your UI payment, I imagine. I recommend that you write to them sincerely. Good luck!

Depends on your state rules; though if you were an exempt manager you might have cause for a lawsuit.
Pretty sure if those people exist, they are not spending their time here.
