There will be no layoffs as a result of the end of DEI. You see, it really isn't ending. They will just call it something else.
Expect HR to have sweeping layoffs with the discontinuation of DEI as there is a whole mess of people doing that work today. Glad to see them all leave! Other layoffs are likely with Big Red blaming the changing atmosphere around DEI.

Retired. My health insurance through Medicare is cheaper and significantly better coverage than through Verizon. Cheaper by a few hundred a month, and have paid no out of pocket yet for doctor, dental and meds so far in 2025. Retire!
