How come executives and executive lawyers don't fight for people at the middle and bottom of the pyramid ? Executives have the stage on the hill.
Fight for the people that build the corps and bring the executives big pay.
Stop fighting against the people and stop rotation of the same mass layoff cycles.
Mass layoffs is old ways of running buisness in a corp and for the hill. 50k layoffs by all these corps every year is showing a pattern. It's as these are the normal and planned out and a scheme for transfer of power and capital. They always say it is to save the buisnesd or company but do it all the time.
It just doesn't make sense.
Why run a business and ramp it up for layoffs all the time ? It's by design. Looker deeper and follow the money and power trail.
I remember the good days where leaders groom non leaders for growth and promotions and new careers to bring about better buisness and profits. People actually cared for each other. Now the fakery is at all time high and so played out , it's becoming crystal clear. Buisness across the board needs transformation.

All the good buisness principles for the people , they don't teach now a days in universities. Bring it all back.

This email received by everyone in some certain teams. My manager had a meeting with us to inform us we gonna get the email and he encouraged not to do so.

It definitely didn't go to everyone. I'm the only one on my team to get it. I'm the newest hire and only been here two months, so I guess I was the obvious choice.

@Post ID: @3dxm+1jv6zOdf ... Some will want to make the transistion and some wont.

I've been waiting on the new assignments/teams for 2 months, maybe more. Whatever it is, it will probably be very radical.

Make no mistake, directed moves and reshuffling of teams has been on the drawing board for a year now. It solves the hiring problem and the LR problem. Some will want to make the transistion and some wont.

There was a link to UNSUBSCRIBE at the bottom of the email (so stop trying to make a mountain out of a molehill).

Where is Chuckie? At this point, we should be hearing from Chuck and Fran. This is beyond Javed and Jeetu at this point.

“I’m being as transparent as I can be.” In other words “I can neither confirm nor deny the rumor because it might cost me my job too.”

Javed was talking in circles when asked to address the LR rumor at the latest all hands. But we all know it’s coming.

So now everyone will be asked/forced to keep their resume up-to-date. That should REALLY help with employee retention...lol.

May be able to clarify some items. If you work for Cisco, you have a job profile. It’s automatic. If you received the recent email, it’s meant to encourage employees to opt in so recruiters can contact them. So, if you are contacted by a recruiter, then your current position may be in jeopardy. There is so much confusion with the entire program, there are weekly meetings on how to lessen the damage

I spoke with HR and this email went to everyone. Even the HR staff are embarrassed at how poorly it was written.

Massive LR on the horizons as per the online water cooler chats. Chuckie will blame it on China lockdown, Ukraine-Russia dancing, Supply Chain, Inflation, Chip shortages, and if the GOP wins the house/senate, he will blame them too. This math major is a master of blame games.

This is a non-event. They've been sending these types of emails out for weeks. Yeah, the selection process seems to be weird, but I don't think it's targeted.

Utter BS. I received the mail and so did many folks in my teams, unbeknownst to me. It's embarrassing having to tell folks to not worry about yet another HR snafu.

Well, look at it from a different angle. Cisco is basically giving you a heads up to update your resume in advance of being LR'ed. So you have about 10 weeks to start looking for a new gig internally or externally. Some folks have been at Cisco for 20+ years and in that timeframe, they have never looked at their resume. Imagine that. It is a hot job market, but oh boy, I feel sorry for such people.

I got the email too and found it really confusing. I clicked through to avature and it looks like it had possibly details from my resume when I originally interviewed. Maybe someone from HR just hit the wrong buttons. 😆

Eh whatever happens is whatever happens. Seems like many people across different orgs got it. Can’t wait for Cisco to layoff half the company

This is 100% false. I do not have a profile on Avature. Why would I? I don't know anyone in my group who has a profile, yet we all got the email.

This is BS. This email was sent to all those with a profile in the Avature hiring tool. The only notification you will get of about to be LR’ed is from your manager during a quick one-to-one call where they will read out a HR generated script.

Not everyone in my group got this email. As far as I can tell, 4 out of 14 got one. And yes, the timing does suck.

The timing of that email really sucks. The managers of LR’d staff are being notified this week. The LR’d staff will probably be notified next week. People who are not on the LR list also received this email.
