L3Harris is reportedly tasked with modifying a Qatari Boeing 747 jet as a potential interim replacement for the current Air Force One, which are aging and have been delayed in replacement. This comes after President Trump praised Qatar for offering the plane, and L3Harris is reportedly working to retrofit it for presidential use. The existing Air Force One aircraft, which are Boeing 747-200s, are more than 30 years old and were meant to be phased out years ago. The replacement project with Boeing is years behind schedule and over budget. L3Harris is reportedly expected to complete the modifications by the end of the year, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Seems like no one in here has absolutely any idea what they are talking about. I urge that if any of you current work for LHX, that you resign and find another place of employment because I promise, you aren't the people they need. The mission continues.

It will not go to gvl. Saudi already told them what Gvl did to them on those executive md-11s. Told them they couldn't get on their planes while under mod because Gvl owned them. wrong answer, Saudis had them flown to waco to finish and were very happy! Those yoyos are still in Gvl making decisions.

Sure...that can work out on that "schedule". What a load of p-o. Nobody anywhere has availability to tap dance that quickly.

But think about the liability of working on a project like that. Both for the company and the individual workers. With predicted chaos and mahem as well as grift, in the future, somebody will be looking for people to blame for the f-ups or tracking devices not found. That will end your career. And no corporate toppers will go to preeson. Just yo.
