Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

I will gladly volunteer

I definitely intended to leave this mess and I secretly wished for a voluntary offer.
The reason being, I think that next year it will be worse to work here than it was this year. I don't believe that there is anyone who thinks that next year will be better at HON.

Notice the odd topics appearing straight after this one HR is desperate to bury these threads. There will be no coming back for SPS after the carnage that is hitting in December, heaven only knows what 2023 will look like with only m.orons left trying to figure out what is going on. Its game over folks. Their only option after this is to divest quick.....the legacy train is finally coming off the rails.

Honeywell is a perfect example of the 2nd law of thermodynamics. It is in a state of constant decay until it will finally fall apart.
It won’t get better. I was there over 25 years and it is still in decay.

If I had gotten the email, I'd definitely apply. Sad that I didn't. I'm sick of Honeywell and their failure to fulfill their promises to us and our customers. I can't see how they are still in business.

There are so few workers in the economy now most execs say attrition is all we need.
Expect layoffs to be in asia for the first time in our lifetimes.

Be careful volunteering to leave. Honeywell can argue they don’t have to pay your unemployment. They want you to quit. Unemployment laws are different in different places. That’s why they are giving us 3 days to decide so you don’t have enough time to research this fact. They aren’t giving any extra incentives for volunteering either. Time to leave but find a new job first and except the layoff if your lucky enough to be chosen.

Our business unit hasn't asked for volunteers. At least not yet.
But I have mentioned to my leader that I would like to volunteer.

Sadly, by his reaction, I don't think he would want that to happen.

That tells me that I'll just fade out sometime next year.
