Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WFA/CRG

SG is bleeding money while other departments are implementing cost-cutting measures to preserve funds. Recently, 950 premier advisors and support staff convened in Orlando for several days. At a cost of at $2,000 per person, this event would amount to nearly $2 million, and likely closer to $3 million, all for a 'Summit.' Furthermore, the hiring of unqualified Market Leaders—evident in the joke of a hire on Long Island—coupled with the use of a private jet , raises concerns. Is JC truly a national sales manager? It appears he could not succeed as an Advisor, so he slicks back his hair and assumes the role of a sales manager. CRG is undeniably a farce. Additionally, there are discrepancies in their reported figures. Their performance has not improved compared to six years ago. The recent migration of advisors to Finet should not be misconstrued; it is merely a strategy to maintain appearances. No advisor wishes to remain with CRG.

Bank wealth management departments are ranked on the perks provided to the employees (advisors) they hire. The institutions consider this the price of doing business. The advisors and teams jump from place to place -- get sold or acquired. It works when there are people still facing this big unknown financial game.

The trip was not funded by product partners. The OP is right, it cost the company tons of money. In the same week, they said off client associates making 65k.

It may cover the cost of meals for a day at most, but it does not include airline tickets, accommodations, and other factors. If you are well-informed, what were the payments made by the product partners and how were these expenses recorded in the system? There are numerous regulations regarding the funding of events like this. I find it hard to believe that you are being truthful.
