Heard the was a push for new Fios work in the n.y.c area this year.So why are there so many tech sitting idle and have no work for weeks?is the company moving toward 5g wireless internet only?

Verizon just got the ok for coop city…. That’s a huge get… around 15k residents
Being removed at night by contractors , while we get told we can’t work nights
@a8, under the dark of night, entire runs disappear, especially in the woods.
Using contractors to remove copper . Already happening
Too many techs for not a lot of work . Gotta trim the fat
Most likely it’s because our competitors have faster speed. I know we have caught up to them in some areas. Fiber splicers in construction have seen work dry up too. Until our speed is faster we will continue to see this. It’s ridiculous we used to lead the industry and now we are playing catch up.
