Quite frankly, there WAS life Before working at Fidelity. And there will be life after. Nothing good or bad lasts forever.

Fear will cause unnecessary and careless mistakes on your part. Because you can’t clearly think and emote at the same time.

So they fire you. You’ll be ok if you can’t find something within a few months. That’s what savings or other accounts are used for.

Get a new job quick, any job will do. Take 2 jobs if necessary while looking for a comparable job.

Leaving Fidelity is NOT the end all. No one has that much power except The Lord, almighty. And leaving could be the beginning of something more lucrative.

To the guy who think managers are playing favorites, even though he worked super duper hard, sad he was only given an SP. Wake up man, it’s a popularity contest. You won’t get EP, they’ll keep giving you an SP for the next few years to motivate you to work more and go above and beyond, especially if you’ve only been here 2yrs.

Are you asked to be relocated to westlake or do you have a choice for locations?

Being asked to relocated, 100% remote will no longer be supported by most BUs and it doesn’t matter if it was approved before through exception or disability. Pack your bags or find another job.

Wealth and brokerage. There were multiple "leadership off sites" recently.

Most level 6,7,8 are on chopping block.

Where is this happening? I'm in Brokerage and our team is spread across multiple sites.

At first I didn't believe Fido managers playing favorites.

After joining and being part of what I considered great firm for two years, it has been constant doze stress, anxiety, uncertainty.

Flash calls every other week, leaders changing frequently. I've had 4 separate managers in past one year, none of whom had any clue how hard I worked in the team I was part of.

Yet after being what I considered being an Exceeded performance rating, I got SP.

And there has been curve ba--s after curve ba--s, with unrealistic expectations.

It seems the management is after me for some reason, yet I see people (and I say it as respectfully as I can) who aren't even par performance gets to run daily show.

Constant uncertainty, fear and unnecessary stress. That’s the only way they know to motivate. Don’t take the bait. Just do your job and let others play the passive aggressive mind games. Your health isn’t worth it.

And the reason??? (you’re gonna love it)

Location, Location, Location…

If you’re not in a location same as your manager or chapter lead, you’re doomed.
