Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Posting reality about BNY on LinkedIn

Why are people only posting about the toxicity at BNY on this site anonymously ? Why can't people write reality about this company on LinkedIn openly ? I understand people are afraid of running into problems finding next opportunities. But Hey ! speaking openly about toxic workplaces is as important as a 'Me too' movement, because this bank can ruin employees mental and physical health ultimately ruining some lives.

LinkedIn keeps spamming me no matter how many times I unsubscribe.

@OP why don’t you write the reality rather than just posting here !

If you remember that yearly code of conduct junk that we have to attest to, there's a section in there about social media posting. If they track you down, they could just fire you based on that.

@a2 If that is the case with LinkedIn, wonder what our options are to speak openly and genuinely on the underlying cover ups , management villains and fake marketing propaganda of BNY. Don't have any interest in suing them, but want to bring their na--d reality to this world so that shareholders know the underlying mess and not support this horrible company by holding on to these shares

Yeah I remember when the former head of digital, RR, would post his stuff. He has since moved on but everyone here absolutely despised him because he was just that horrible of a person. But on LinkedIn, it was all brown nosing. Not even a challenge to his ideas, especially since he delivered very little.

Because LinkedIn is censored, controlled and gets kick backs. It is the most unrealistic, nauseating social media platform going. And if you rock the boat, you get deleted and kicked out. Plus as an added bonus, you are easily traceable and the HR CCP people’s team would love that.
