Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Real leaders admit their mistakes

Admitting mistakes is the fastest path to moving past them, but no,, our leadership is made up of people with inflated egos who will never admit that the company is in a downward spiral largely because of their bad decisions. It's much easier to blame the employees, isn't it? /s.

Downvotes are paid for by Honeywell and shareholders.

You make the mistake we have leaders. Honeywell does not have leaders. Lol. Not even close.

It's interesting to listen to the questions posed by the Wall Street analysts during the quarterly earnings release. A couple have figured out that Honeywell's cash flow is a problem and that Honeywell makes its numbers through accounting tricks like restructuring (aka cost cutting), but none really push the issue since they won't be invited back to the calls if they do. Stock price will languish because they're skeptical and won't rate it as a "buy." If they find out that the Aero backlog has reached a new, unbelievably high milestone, they might realize that Honeywell has bigger problems than they're disclosing, but hey, that's what most of the companies out there are doing. I'm glad I pulled out all of my holdings in this dysfunctional, non-performing company.

Right now you have to question if there is any 'leadership' at all. Hasn't been for a long time.

Excuses are always acceptable to upper management, but not to anyone below.

And to blame "market conditions", "headwinds", "supplier delays", "churn", the need to buy back billions in stock, and M&A to keep the shell game of growth going strong.
