While we sit around wondering if we'll be fired next, NOW IS THE TIME to PULL YOUR MONEY OUT OF WF and put it ANYWHERE ELSE. It's the best we can do while we wait to see if it's our time or not. If you haven't done so already, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you pull ALL of your money out of this sh1thole company. That is if you weren't smart enough to already not have your money here.

How sad is it that after leaving emloyment that your accounts are changed from Team Member accounts? It used to be you keep the Team Member account forever. You were even able to open a Team Member account as a contractor. Losing the dollars while chasing pennies.
Don't forget your Cash Balance Plan money. You can roll that over to an IRA or another company's 401K in some cases. If you worked over 15 years or so, you have that Cash Balance plan. I think they dissolved it when Walkoverya was purchased.
Putting your money in a WF savings account is almost like putting it under your mattress. Virtually no interest. Go seek out an Internet bag with high-yield. Synchrony bank has a 3% APY right now. Easy iOS app with a button to transfer funds to and from your WF checking.
Why? You think they'll restrict your accounts if you leave?

I don't know who that's directed to, but what I'm saying (the OP) is that since wells doesn't give a cr@p about us, we should all take our money elsewhere. I'm not looking for financial advice, I'm saying sc--w WF. Mass exodus of money to another bank.
If you are laid off, the day your 60-day notice is over, your checking and savings are changed from an Employee account to a different type. Mine is now an Everyday checking account. I received my last severance check last week and will be closing all my accounts with WF. If you don't change your deposits before your 60 day notice is up, you should just ride it out until your last severance check as they limit what you can do in Workday.
