Is this a targeted diversity hiring and recruiting program?

Gets colored people jobs!
Campus hires with the greatest potential, have the greatest potential to leave.
Many leaving within 5 years.
Make everyone work WE3 with no assigned desk and only a personal drawer, will optimize that to 100% of recruiting class quits within 3 years.
Progress.
Lesson Learned: when EM hires the best, they leave within 5 years.
Higher the GPA means higher the attrition.
They only accept jobs at EM to get that stamp on their resume.
It’s a program aimed to introduce high-performing diversity college students to management and career opportunities at Exxon so we can increase our diversity stats in hiring, while still attracting quality candidates and not “settling” just to check a box.
My team hired 2 FLA graduates in the last couple years, both were really great employees. Both of them have since quit for better opportunities.
Racist
It’s a program to promote the inclusion of young, up and coming future industry leaders. Unless you’re a white male. If you’re one of those then too bad. You had your time, now step aside.
Texas produces comedians like quarterbacks.
So funny.
Completely a diversity program. Had a campus recruit that was invited because she was part of NSBE but was almost uninvited because in the campus assessment form I put she was Caucasian. There was a late night call with XOM managers and lawyers debating it. I had to point about that the student was flying out the next day and to I invite her at this point had more negative consequences that just letting her come and risk her feeling out of place.
It’s collaboration and active engagement through discussion of important legal matters such as what exactly is deemed offensive when filling or over filling a black mini-skirt. It includes health related discussions such as the justification and support of tackling the obesity epidemic in the office so that many of us are not traumatized by the sites before us. There is also team building in the form of beer-pong. It’s a great use of shareholder’s invested money.
Always fun to read a mo--n's legal assessment. Makes me chuckle.
Seems like the kind of program that the Supreme Court is going to declare unconstitutional
“…… an academy designed to develop highly qualified engineering students and expose them to leadership opportunities at ExxonMobil and within their industry.”
But that’s just cover. It’s a diversity program.
If it isn’t a diversity program that is what it has become based on LinkedIn posts showing attendees.
Never heard of it. Maybe it's the precursor for selection to the Eyes Wide Shut parties down at The Ranch
