assuming they lay me off on a day I'm in the office I am leaving my laptop at the office.
I got boxes a week after and hadn’t signed the agreement at that point so it can vary timing wise. I shipped them back a few days later.
I got a box about 2 weeks after I was laid off and during the 60 day.
Hot potato it back as fast as possible if you’re on non-working notice lest they try to get you back for a quick reprise on something only you know about.
That could still happen, but if there’s special client software it will be harder. If it does happen, be a maliciously compliant stickler for process especially if your manager is an ignoranus.
I see no reason to hold on to it bug maybe somebody else had a reason. Oh and apologize for the broken screen. And don’t bother with degaussing.
