Lol. Yes, it's called work all of your life (half of your life here at Wells), save in an IRA, 401k, you could get a very small pension here. The last time I checked my very small pension is the equivalent of one week's worth of groceries. Then wait until you reach the new social security eligible age to draw a decent amount of social security. That's if the DOGE has sc--wed that up for people wishing to retire. Cheers 🍻. I may end up like my Father and work until my time on earth ends. Nothing wrong with that. Working is the American way.

Yes they do but you have to be at a certain level and have enough dirt they want you to go away.

As since stated, Wells Fargo does not have a retirement program. Only thing close they've had was the old Norwest Bank 'cash balance plan'. They ended it when they bought Wachovia.

That would imply humanity and decency, and if you work here, you know the answer without asking.

WHAT?? Read carefully: WELLS FARGO HAS NO RETIREMENT PLAN

If you are working at Wells, thinking you will have 'retirement' one day, you are delusional.

In all seriousness, here is Wells retirement:
You get a free checking account.
You get the opportunity to purchase in medical insurance AT FULL PREMIUM. Last I knew the cheapest plan for 1 person was $887. Each addn person was an addn $887. Better plans are more expensive.

Yes, it’s called a severance package - where have you been lately?

Define “package”. If you mean “retired” but also monetized their many YOS through the standard severance program… that absolutely has happened. I take one for the team and help solve manager’s near-term headcount task kind of thing.

But I know of nothing with better terms than that (which can be a great de facto retirement bonus).

Not company-wide, but it's possibly happened within particular LOB's, although I've never heard of it.
