Got the call yesterday. Summer vacation starts now, but officially June 13. Last day is June 12. This place is a mess.

Just got my notice.... As suspected, the people who were not forced to move to hub locations were safe. I said it all along, if you were someone they wanted gone, they were trying to force you out from the start. The org i'm in had a LOT of people who remained Virtual Office and are in sites that are completely remote.

My super doofus visor called me to give me a heads up that I will be receiving a layoff meeting today from HR. I told him thanks but no thanks. I emailed HR to let them know that I pulled all the infor data and used power bi to create some compelling visual dashboards that I will be sending to my lawyer if I get laid off to “ask them if the data seems right to them.” After sharing some screen shots I was told that I was not included in this round. I love power bi.
Ticket to $hit, ServiceCow program is the biggest joke. What a waste of money.
There is also rumors that a hiring freeze has now been implemented. Told by a couple AVPS in the Legg org that they had to stop interviewing.
I have a reliable source that claims Sleepy Ward and Chicken Legg caused the hiring freeze by eating up the entire three year IT budget in six months with our Ticket to $hit, ServiceCow program. Interviews have also stopped because none of the hand picked culture candidates could pass any of the technical screening tests that d-mb d-mb put in place.

There actually have not been "a ton of options". My only opportunity was prior to the company announcing 5x. Had I known that the company was going back to the 1990s attendance policy I would have taken a severance.
