Consequences of failing a Phishing test

Been at WF and failed a Phishing test for the first time after 20+ years. Got the email to take extra classes, etc. What other consequences can I expect? Will I be tagged to get fired for it? Does it stay on your record forever?
Thank you all in advance for any input, it is causing me anxiety trying to figure out what to expect and the impacts to my career.

Not sure about HR type repercussions, but if you fail the phishing test more than once you eventually get placed on a high risk list where your email and internet traffic is monitored more closely than just the standard monitoring and blocking that's done enterprise wide. You could potentially lose some of your access like being able to send email externally at all, or other things along those lines.

@k9 Let them all get fired for something stupid like that. They beg to be terminated on here daily after all.

You will be required to wear a dunce cap in the office if you fail again.

send all emails from Corporate back to the Phish department, especially all of those daily and weekly pervasive and perverted pride month emails. (Do the needful) :)

Pretending you didn't "see" the email is the same as failing the test. Read the policy folks - they'll get you one way or another if the want to!

It happened to me several years ago. I was told to take the additional training, which I did. I thought it was mandatory, but I am not sure that's the case for the first time (may be "highly recommended"). That was the only time I failed the test, and there were no consequences. Not even a talk/email from my manager. If it happens more than once, then things escalate. Like, training becomes mandatory, manager gets notified, etc. Perhaps your job could be at risk if you really keep at it. But for one time, I wouldn't worry. And the clock resets at some point, maybe after a year of no offenses.

I never get fooled by the phishing test emails. But a big problem is half the corporate emails also look like phishing attempts. Stop sending me corporate emails from external sources that want me to click on links.

I have reported legitimate emails because if I don’t know the name IDGAF. Ain’t gonna catch me slipping.

I got it today about two hours after finishing the ART class. It was a quick delete for me.

Failed it twice in a 6-month period since I clicked on the halloween pics one. Had to watch some lame video that took 28 minutes of my life away. Was warned that failing it more than 3 or 4 times in a year would be grounds for some kind of punitive action, up to, and including termination.

The irony is the only external email I get that aren't from WF or some affiliate/partner are spam/phish campaign emails. They punish you for trusting their system that works quite good. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I got an email that said I failed a phishing test today as well but I dont believe I did. It mentioned that I opened a quarantine email. The only quarantine emails I get are from WF telling me that I got an external email and to review the subject before I accept...How many other people got an email today?

I don’t believe there’s a significant consequence for failing one time. Multiple failures are what will escalate action. Had a guy on my team fail twice with no major HR issues.
