I admit I get to run long errands while home, take care of dr appointments, while I couldn't do that while in the office, and just be out, and about.
I have my phone to check email requests with me, but don't necessarily need to be in the office, and especially on Fridays.
My work hours are less being home, while my paycheck is the same.

When at home I almost always put in more work than necessary. When in the office I put in the bare minimum (if that), and constantly "watercooler chat" with those who want to say hi, or talk about their daughters dance/school/whatever. I'm far less productive in the office.
Lemme guess — you’re probably going to be the employee complaining about not getting a proper raise too …
It really depends on whether or not there's scrotal involvement.
I find that I am working more hours wfh. Without the drive time, and without the easy seperation between the office and home, they are getting a lot more out of me then when I was in the office.
More and more studies are showing productivity is dropping when staff return to office.
I WFH and used to be ambitious about my job. Now I’m not. After decades of devoted service, I analyzed my situation and concluded the company has been practicing a “quiet constraint” with me for years. I first mistook the issues as normal obstacles, but if leadership is withholding what I need to do my job, then it’s “quiet constraint”. I.e. The company is supposed to provide you with everything you need to your job, but if they withhold what you need, then what?
It’s a cousin to quiet firing.
So, guess what. I’m playing quiet quitting. Since I work fully remotely, I only work when given tasks, else I’m doing what I like to do. I work so little, that sometimes I forget I still work for this company. Leadership shuffles me around. One supervisor didn’t give me work for nearly a year. Imagine what that was like… It gave me a glimpse into retirement life. So, I have both feet firmly into retirement, but consider it partially funded by the company with a couple of strings attached. I.e. Occasional calls, tasks and required KODs.
