Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why nobody cares about townhalls any more?

What's the reason? People are lethargic, there is no engagement, etc.

I think everyone just gave up.

Working from home does not help, we are all removed from each other.

The folks on the townhall are Rats and we know what Rats do, they breed other Rats. It's time we call an exterminator to take care of this problem.

Heading for the lifeboat as I take a sip of my coffee. Please don't tell Charlie. Oh, wait he is already in a boat and smiling his stupid, sh-t eating grin.

I can't even force myself to reply here.... things are so bad with this leadership. We are doomed. Get to a lifeboat if you have one, I do not. God Bless.

I used to listen to almost all townhalls from the executives. Then they made it their mission to make my life miserable with benefits reductions and RTO. Now I don't give a damn what they say, I'm just waiting for them to leave. I'll give the next leadership team a fair shot and listen to what they have to say, but the NYC crowd is done.

  1. Mack needs to take this company over and get it back on the right track, starting with a WFH option for any workers who's role is compatible with it. Start taking talent from the other banks with this and we'll be good in the long term.

That was the most disengaged group of supposed leaders that I have ever seen. The info they presented was just a bunch of fluff. Clearly they are just hanging on for a golden parachute. How can they brag about donating large sums to charity when annual raises average 1.5%? Maybe do right by your own employees before donating to charity?

Giggle giggle boys while people are literally being escorted out of the building after losing their job. Q&A fake questions.
I want real talk.

"We all love little smokies" I'm right there with you, he's showing us the door. Here's your hat, what's your hurry?

It’s just like listening to politicians before election Day. Leadership is so phony. For those of us, Intuitives, we know they’re spewing rhetoric. I can’t listen to them anymore. It really hurts my mind listening to them making false promises and platitudes. Anyone else get the same feeling?

If you're mad that employees are disengaging from the current management that has proved untrustworthy at every step, you may need to fix the culture at the top. Blaming the workers hasn't worked yet, but management keeps trying to do that. They are proving Einstein's definition of insanity.

biggest joke was Saul touting tech investment in multiple systems/LOB including HR. Because everyone loves Workday...

I guess on one hand, WFH means people are more removed from each other, but this has a really great side to it. WFH lets people stay in their own orbits, so toxic culture only affects them to the extent it can actually permeate their orbit. I tolerated the BS that is this company far better when I was WFH. I rolled my eyes at town halls much less when I was WFH.

Because all they want to talk about is DEI. The updates from Ather were interesting at least. I couldn't really understand what Saul was going through

Clown hall is a cheerleading dog and pony show. Let's go around the ho-n and tell each other how f**king wonderful we are and look at everything we did while king clown is watching Tik Tok vids. Address what's really on people's minds? Oh, come now and deprive the peons of sleepless nights worrying if they will have jobs as the holidays approach? https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/02/wells-fargo-mortgage-staff-brace-for-layoffs-as-us-loan-volumes-collapse.html

The real issues are far to contrite for this feel good stroke job. Did anybody ever care about clown halls? Q&A is a joke, no real questions. What do you like best about your cr--ker a** Thanksgiving that you have catered at the Multi million $ Manhattan Condo? Deep fried Turkey? Oh god no, how gauche! Cranberries you say?
