Did anyone else’s child get email notice that the decision on their Wells Fargo scholarship application is delayed until mid to late July? They are supposed to make the decision in May. Just find it curious timing because it says in the fine print that an employee has to be an employee as of July 1. I guess we’re safe at this point since there’s always the 60 day working/non-working period but I wonder if they are having to go through and see who’s still employed and who’s not since the applications were due early this year. Just curious if others with college age kids got the same message. This is our third renewal and it’s always been done in May.

What happened on July 1st? Were they approved or deemed ineligible?
My student received the same message. Delayed decision until July.

The only talent Charlie Scharf has is laying off people. I cannot fathom any financial advisor bringing or maintaining business here with the damage done to consumers and clients. That shows poor judgment. Plus potential clients will be averse to join the firm. So, I am unsurprised by anyone having trouble at this stage.
Just another piece of evidence that any risk no matter how insignificant or material is an afterthought.
