Location strategy is just a way to demoralize and get people to leave voluntarily so downsizing is cheaper, with the added bonus of selling a bunch of mid sized offices for extremely depressed prices.

Nothing says cutting costs like closing Jacksonville or Boise and hiring a ton of people in NYC.

They do not care about cutting costs. Never have. It's lip service for investors and an excuse to torment people into leaving.

Location strategy is not related to Asset Cap. It's related to efficiency ratio. They're trying to cut out costs so they can improve profits etc.
