Your manager has the reports. What’s your utilization score? One minute of productivity for sending an email. Screen went blank? Negative two. Looked at Fox News or CNN during lunch? Productivity goes down. Didn’t have Excel open long enough? You guessed it….hit the report. Collaborated with a colleague without your computer open? Yep, you lost productivity time.

@ef it’s part of teams. That’s what our mgr told us.
I understand that Charlie is manning a drone to peek into windows while you are working. Where is your tinfoil hat OP?
Uuummm it’s built into Teams guys. It’s already running and you’re using it, feeding the algo every day!
Look up celonis task mining. Wells is absolutely doing this but its in pockets, not everywhere
Is there software that can do this? Yes
Does Wells Fargo have it installed on your laptop? No. If it was you should be able to identify the process by name.
This is absolutely true. The software is called Aternity.
Sounds like this is true. I overheard manager talking about the report which tracks how much time employees spend on collaborative tools and how they're going to measure productivity based on collaborative software (teams calls, shared files) and jira. I guess the age of the mouse jiggle & faking a red status have come to an end.
Why would it even take AI to track what employees are doing on a PC? It's not rocket surgery or some cutting edge new thing to log activity.
I see wells Fargo is trying to discredit this post Go away insider threat and track the OC members emails
They absolutely do have AI driven applications that can track every action you are taking throughout the day. I saw a demo of it when I was still with Wells. Can't recall the name of the program but it was pretty ridiculous how much they could track and the level of detail they could look at. Big brother is definitely watching if you are in some type of front-line operations productivity driven role.
Time to do the needful. It is a giant boosts to my productivity.
If anyone is stupid enough to believe this - well good luck to you. Anyone technologically savvy would know this is a troll post. OP, name the vendor WF is using to do this supposed monitoring- what process is exposed - don’t say it’s hidden because that would never pass IT security
If managers need asinine reports like this to know what we do, then we have much bigger problems in this bank.
IROBOT
we heard this week reports were shared and to some accidentally. If this is how these people want to micro manage then have fun. If I go to a meeting room without my computer 1x a week I will be sure to draw a line in the sand with my manager to take a hike. Guess reporting goes back 5 months or so.
