How much do these guys actually get paid? Base doesn’t look very far from M3s and M4s. Is the bonus what makes a difference?
Does anyone have any numbers u can share for Charlotte and NY?

- Nope, M5s do not make anywhere near 7 figures all in. more like mid 6 figures (total comp - base, cash bonus and restricted stock)
- there's no region differential for any level M4 and up.
- salary bands overlap 80% with the next salary band
@ez They're just wrong period. It's not mixed up with a P5 as they aren't getting a $150K bonus. I think you all are both wrong. It's in the 7 figures for an M5, but not upwards of $10M.
So the executives get a huge bonus (like $150K-$200K) and their total comp is almost twice of the base salary. The staff employees get a bonus of around $10K-$15K.
In the old days it would have been 250,250,250. If you don’t know what that means then I’m sorry. I don’t know what they currently offer.
@b5 you might confused M5 to P5. P5 is individual. M5 is very high in the ranking.
For reference, M6 are Senior EVPs, in SEC filling, typically $10M+.

M5 typical starting salary 225 to 240. Bonus averages 150k a yr.
They don't make anything after they are laid off, which is what this board is geared towards. Do the needful and move your employment/salary inquiries over to Reddit.
They deserve upper 6 figures. It’s tough work!
