You have to take a course every year, the code of conduct. "live by the code" is the theme, well not now. For people in the enterprise a long time, they see their colleagues fired and transferred weekly. If you have one "full time" job, you'll be assigned a second one, especially if you are not one of the 'favored' categories based on things like Target and Starbucks do.
Leadership simply tries as hard as it can to get rid of people who know UHC is a health insurance, not a money generating company. If only you could get rid of more doctors and replace them with AI and people from overseas. It's not going to work out well, even Mr. Hemsley won't be able to save it as so many senior leaders drank an awful lot of Kool-aid and ran the business into the ground. Employees, maybe they can get another job, but pity the patients.

Things that make you go hmmmm…
Lol agree w reply above- um you DO know you work for a fortune FOUR company correct? That is literally their JOB to make sure the company remains profitable. Hello? Smh. You do realize we have to make money so UHS, Inc. can pay payroll? And that money comes from insurance premiums paid by employers and individuals. Or the services sold by Optum.
It’s literally their JOB to worry about profitability. If we aren’t profitable we’d all lose our jobs. What is so hard to understand about this?
