I recently signed an offer for the Technology internship at Wells Fargo but after hearing about the unfortunate situation of the layoffs I'm wondering if they'll go for the interns next, what do you think?

Interns are cheap and they've been hyping up the program(s). I wouldn't be concerned.

It is possible but I think there is a strategy to invest in younger more affordable talent.
