28/28 roles

Anyone know what roles if any outside of drilling exist on a 28/28 schedule for CL 28 and higher?

I did it for many years working projects at the construction and commissioning phases. We also received 2:1 CTO for any extra days. Glory days, indeed. Now it's all gone. Just waiting a short time to GTFO and fade off into the sunset. Good luck

Drilling has always been special. Fly first class even not business. A lot of perks others dont have.

28/28 is very rare at that level. Rotational is typically field based. You might could pull a 2 year assignment during early development at Moz or PNG but that’s probably it. Suggest finding someone with your same skills and try to get a boss you know well to package you both up.

Ha! I did it..28/28 for over three decades, I true 28/28 where I had an actual relief, I saw the world, got great $ for 6 months work per year $400k + Ben’s + etc. , got even more $ by working a second job on days off (you are not suppose to, catch me if you can) and came out the other side financially flush surround by children and grandchildren everywhere . Like is good.

Yes, I was engineer in drilling
No, it’s not offered out side drilling as far as I know.
You missed out. Sorry.

PS. EM tried several times to get me to take an expat (Oz & Nigeria). Expat = endless hours & poor. 28/28 = the best deal in the oilfield, if you are lucky enough to qualify. Few are. Which makes me special :) Ha!
