Finance VP retiring, replaced with external hire

Amazing that there were no internal candidates in tax, treasurers, or controllers who were qualified to be the new finance VP after the current guy retires at year end. I’m sure our Controller will be replaced next.

Recruiters told everyone for decades about the great career paths in finance here…so much for that!

If they brought someone into that VP role from within then they may come in and share all the sh-t happening downstream of the execs who are sh-----g upriver. At this point they’ve pi---d off the masses too much so they have to bring someone in from outside.

Garbage hire. There are at least five internal candidates better than this guy. Seems like McKenzie told EM to make cuts to premium talent.

Any relation to Neil Chapman? I would not be surprised

All Dallas Execs need to relocate to BTC instead of Houston campus and work in WE3 while training their low cost replacements.

The Execs are convinced EM can succeed with low cost workers.

Us workers are convinced EM can succeed with low cost Execs.

While I think we do need to break the groupthink currently found at the executive level I fear we are bringing in people who have zero understanding of our industry. We will all suffer as accountants and bean counters take over.

Wow; are they trying to demotivate all of our snr managers by bringing in yet another outsider that doesn’t seem to have incremental experience to people in our existing talent pool…

The company obviously needs to bring in external talent to fill the void left by a workforce that is stale, devoid of innovation, lacks motivation and quite frankly has no inspiration. Once the rot is rooted out of the peon and senior ranks both, only then can we expect upward mobility and opportunity. Most here cannot get jobs externally, are stuck so really are not worthy of promotion to senior ranks.

As a new hire to Honeywell at a lower level it certainly doesn’t give me hope for any upward career trajectory.

Another ignorant new hire at executive level.

Will likely get WE4 out of this one.
