Financial Group Retirement Solicitation

Anyone receive an invite via Vz company email?! I think it’s highly unusual. So who at Vz is giving out my company email address to an external party?! Isn’t this a violation of proprietary information being disclosed? On the upside, maybe they know something we don’t ? Offer coming out?!

The last time I talked to them, they had a heads up a package was coming. They want your business.

This is outcoming from a group of people or Team that have access to the corporate directory and pass the contacts to the outside. I receive a number of phone calls, every week, on both my direct office landline and concessionary mobile numbers. Some self-entitled, arrogant sobs that I systematically abruptly ditch or just reject their calls altogether. The LinkedIn's fishing experts usually contact via direct message through the application.

There's an insider selling info. Maybe even the company. How else do they get my company cell phone number?

@aj - or could be due to using Fidelity for the 401k. You need to "not" agree to marketing stuff all the way around.

If you’re on LinkedIn, those financial people are drawn to you like bears to honey. It’s not difficult for them to figure out your email address. [firstname].[lastname]@verizon.com
