Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

This site is getting busy!

I've been on here for a few years now, and I've never seen this level of Honeywell corporate participation. Makes me think that they are a little worried about what is being said here. Honeywell may be in more trouble than they say each quarter? We are doing good here.

I’m probably just not tech savvy enough to get it, but I’m surprised they are able to delete posts / replies. I know it’s happening, I’ve seen it myself on a couple of threads, just confused how this is possible, seems the whole purpose of the site is to offer a forum for anonymous communication, regardless of content (not considering using exact names, etc.) - maybe they are able to pay the site itself to edit or remove content that highly concerns them??

A note on the reducing their 👣… I would think allowing for full time remote / work from home employees would only HELP them accomplish this goal (no use for office buildings), but instead they continue to demand more workers come in to the office, regardless if they had been doing an efficient / effective job remotely since March 2020… sounds more like a controlling factor to me, ‘just do it because we say so, or else…’

Allied signal is really smart. The CEO stated when the pandemic was taking place. They could speed up the process of the plans that they had in the next 5 years.
So they use this time to relocate facilities, and build extra parts to make the transition easier. When most competitors were laying off people we were so busy.
You people who like to live in a bubble. You going to be shocked to see what facilities close next. Remember roof top consolidation and they want to reduce the footprint of the company by 50%. You better believe it's happening.

You all better be prepared for the holiday season. You going to get a big lump of coal. Some of you guys aren't going to be around within the next two years. I would expect an all hands-on meeting for some of you guys. This is just the facts.

If you're an older worker, you'll just have to find something until you can retire. The companies they keep around. They will get rid of people who are on family medical leave. By using a strict attendance policy to get rid of you or try to get you on social security benefits. The rest of the older people they will weed you out. This is the future of Honeywell. You better believe this is the end of us.

They don't care if you leave or stay. They just want to work force that has the attitude Monday through Sunday. Give me overtime.

Imagine your job being to go to this site and press downvote. Sad.

No, the downvoting is a corporate paid for exercise. It is too systematic and indiscriminate also the strongest periods of activity coincide with timezones of countries that supply this service at very little cost. More concerning is that some juicy posts which did not break conduct rules have been eliminated very quickly which shows HR is watching this site like a hawk..... and for good reason, there is a lot brewing.

They certainly do have bots or similar to downvote. Quite sad for them really.

Similar to Glassdoor, I'm sure corporate HR hired a firm to monitor this site.

They're definitely walking a fine line on financial "specials" at the end of each quarter. Waiting for a whistleblower to come forward and "deck" this house of cards.
