Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

RTO

one of the ten mgmt team work streams is RTO and assume looking into if there should be changes. The recommendation meeting is in July. Does anyone know what’s being recommended?

There isn’t enough real estate available in FL for RTO 5 days a week. But I know of 40+ people being ‘invited’ back in July. They were identified as living within 50 miles of a hub location.

I work in the area that’s making decisions on RTO. The chatter I’ve been hearing for months now is 5 days a week “butts in the seats” by October.

There is nothing more comical then commuting to the office for my required in person days to sit by myself in a cubical and join virtual meetings

I sit by myself with all my peers remote because we’re a global company but I need to be in my chair to still be remote to them. Make it make sense.

@14m
Bull! They just want to outsource and bring in more Cheap labor, and friends of friends to get employed. I'm guessing upper management loves the Late deadlines and lies about how AI can do the Job(AI is in its infant stages) but yeah weeding out the ones who don't go is what they are doing, now if you are very good friends with management and an A$$ kisser well you should be fine not needing to show up.

Attrition rates are well below forecast in Q2.

You can expect 5 Days a week and minimal incentive pools until the herd is culled.

Are people really not showing up at the office even when told they have to 3 days a week? I'm talking band 5,6, and 7 folks

@kj nowhere in the title does it say 3 days . And if it's going to be all week in office it's all about weeding out people. Although most don't even go to office some give a flying f@$_&-+()/ and have HR backing them up.

@OP Former BofA went to Truist for full remote. Now back in office 4 days. We will all be back 4-5 days eventually.

The post is about changing the 3 days. I know we are already 3 days

Isn't it already 3 days a week in office, in order to be compliant?
