There is NO ONE left in Verizon senior management that can run the combined company. None. That's why they have to do a deal. There are nothing but underperformers at Verizon. Watch!

Doubtful they'll keep many from frontier. They'll get the merger done, transfer the knowledge, then rif the majority. Not just management, everyone.

Stratton is too old now for this battle, and Sam is not in the same league as Alan Gardner. She has no clue about the US communications market while Alan helped plant many of the seeds. His connections in the industry are wide and deep. At this point, I'll bet that they are already sketching out a new team in quiet.

This is why they need real telecom types in executive roles and not former consultants from McKinsey, Bain, etc. There has not been one all star hired by the company since Hans took over the reins.

My buddy works for Frontier, all of their problems are Director and up. All they want to use in contractors that dont do the job right, techs report it and practically beg to do it themselves. They get denied then the management makes another job for the contractors to come back again and get paid twice. The Local managers and techs are micro managed.

Hopefully they make Stratton CEO. He should have gotten the job after Ivan left.

"Alan Gardner from Frontier, who came from Verizon, will run HR. Bet on it."

But but but, what about Sam the Man?

All jobs not hands on can and should be replaced by AI. it's faster, smarter, and far less corrupt than any overpaid, diseased human. Replace ALL DEI execs with AI, Immediately.

Alan Gardner was around from before the beginning of Verizon to the beginning of Verizon and though likely near retirement will be one of the people most responsible for turning this bad habit around! He will know who belongs on the bus in which seat and who doesn't. That is the biggest problem here.

Gardner has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of management hires and losers over the past 25+ years in telecom. He knew the winners in finance, strategy, engineering, and customer service. He also knows and knew all of the losers too.

I'm still long VZ. Not even Hans can destroy it.

From Hans on down there is no one at Verizon who has a half of an idea about how to run a telephone company. They laid off and pushed out everyone who knew about this business and replaced them with foreigners. I bet the FCC is having a field day with Hans the corruptor.
